At NEKAWA, the work is centred around nervous system regulation, awareness, and sustainable change. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, sessions are designed to support how your mind and body respond to stress, experience, and life demands.

People arrive at NEKAWA for many reasons — sometimes with a clear goal, sometimes simply knowing something feels out of balance. My role is not to direct or diagnose, but to create the conditions for clarity, regulation, and meaningful internal shift to emerge.

There are several ways we can work together, depending on what you’re experiencing and the type of support you’re seeking.

Hypnotherapy at NEKAWA works with the subconscious mind and nervous system to support clarity, emotional regulation, and lasting change.

This approach is trauma-informed, body-aware, and paced with care. Sessions are personalised and unhurried, allowing insight and regulation to unfold naturally rather than being forced.

Hypnotherapy may be supportive if you are:

  • feeling stuck or overwhelmed

  • experiencing persistent stress or emotional tension

  • noticing patterns that don’t shift through logic alone

  • navigating transition, uncertainty, or internal conflict

Sessions are available online via Zoom and in person in Whanganui and Auckland.

Bodywork & Craniosacral Therapy

Gentle, hands-on support for physical ease and nervous system regulation

Bodywork and craniosacral therapy at NEKAWA offer a calm, respectful way to support the body’s natural capacity to settle, release, and restore balance.

This work uses gentle, attentive touch and is particularly suited to those who are sensitive to forceful treatment or who hold stress and tension in the body.

Bodywork may be supportive if you are:

  • carrying physical tension or discomfort

  • experiencing nervous system overload or fatigue

  • finding it difficult to fully relax or switch off

  • seeking a gentle, non-invasive approach to body support

Sessions are available in person in Whanganui and Auckland.

Online & In-Person Sessions

NEKAWA offers flexibility in how you access support.

  • Online sessions (Zoom) are available worldwide and are just as effective as in-person work. Many people find they feel more relaxed and open in their own environment.

  • In-person sessions are available in Whanganui, with scheduled clinic dates in Auckland.
